Installation

Installing new brake rotors and pads is an important task that can greatly improve the performance and safety of your vehicle. These zinc coated brake rotors, combined with ceramic carbon fiber brake pads, provide superior braking power and longevity compared to traditional brake components.

Before beginning the installation process, make sure you have all the necessary tools and supplies on hand. You will need a lug wrench, jack stands, a torque wrench, and a brake caliper tool. You may also need a hammer and chisel to remove stubborn brake pads.

To begin the installation, first consult your vehicle's owner's manual for specific instructions and warnings. Then, follow these general steps:

1. Jack up the vehicle and secure it on jack stands.
2. Remove the lug nuts and tires from the front or rear wheels that you will be working on.
3. Locate the brake caliper and use the brake caliper tool to compress the caliper piston. This will allow you to remove the old brake pads.
4. Remove the old brake pads and the brake rotor.
5. Clean the brake caliper and mounting hardware with brake cleaner.
6. Install the new brake rotor, making sure it is properly aligned with the caliper.
7. Install the new brake pads, making sure they are seated properly in the caliper.
8. Reassemble the caliper and mounting hardware.
9. Repeat the process on the other front or rear wheel.
10. Reinstall the tires and lug nuts, and torque them to the proper specification.
11. Test the brakes to ensure they are working properly.
